    Missing Sticker

Since I have narrowed the hunt to the phone book at the phone booth at the SW corner of NW 23rd and Hoyt for the past 4 days and have searched the 2 phone books there 8 plus times extensively I am left to conclude that someone must have already removed it.  I believe it was in the phone book on the right hand side of the booth with the US West title on the yellow cover.  I haven't been able to locate an sticky residue however!

I also looked through every page of both phone books but did not find it.  It is either missing or it was never in the phone book.

Just for the record, there are 1400 pages!  Per book!  Indifferent

I need to figue out a way to recruit all of you to help locate some treasure worth $200 million!   All of this talent and "dedication" should be put to better use.  Geeked

I know what you mean Guru about how things fit exactly where you've been looking.  Maybe you should recruit Mr. Dex.  Wink

    Re: Missing Sticker

Update on the Missing Sticker, now that we have clue 13 I am gonna say it was in the Yellow pages phone book at the booth on 23rd and Hoyt on page 1133.  In the 2006 phone book that I have at my house on page 1133 is the Recruiting-Armed Forces category.  So of course I had to run down to the phone booth and check only to discover that it houses the 2007 phone book and that category is on an earlier page in the 2007 phone book and page 1133 is a restaurant listing.  However still haven't been able to locate any missing pages or sticky residue in either book though I am certain that is where it was.

Awesome, guru (although perhaps you should change your name to "stickerguru" or "monkeyguru" now)!  I'll just keep the "champagne" in the trunk until the next time!  (Island_girl and I carry sparkling cider and champagne glasses in our car during "hunting season" to hopefully toast the winner when the treasure is discovered).  We enjoyed serving guru and his family some of the bubbly after he found the Oregonian's medallion a couple of years ago).

    Re: Missing Sticker

Yup, not quite as sweet without the champagne but pretty fun to find something without finding it!

Thanks for the nice note.  Sorry, did not get your email from yesterday until just now, see you out there soon I'm sure.

    Re: Missing Sticker

Nope, I'm right here, I've been pressure washing all day. I need to get things in order before the next hunt. They're trying to kill me with these back to back hunts!

    Think ***Clackamas County***

Sea, are you doing Joes treasure hunt?

I wonder if it will be a sticker?

Don't follow me, I have no clue!
